Punit Balan Cricket Academy is a professionally structured cricket training institution established in 2025 with a mission to nurture young cricketing talent and contribute to the development of the sport from the grassroots level.
The academy was founded with a strong vision to create a world-class cricket learning environment where aspiring players receive professional coaching, modern training infrastructure, and structured development programs. Our goal is to provide players with the right platform to develop their cricketing skills and compete at district, state, national, and international levels.
The Visionary
Director Punit Balan
Punit Balan started work under the guidance of his father, in construction, at the age of 16. He started from the ground up and whilst journeying through the various levels and departments of his father’s successful construction company, he realised he wanted exponentially more than just being a successful builder.
He had dreams, and he has gone on to realise all of these teenage dreams and some. His ₹3,500 crores company, the Punit Balan Group (PBG) successfully dabbles in real estate construction, film production, sports, philanthropy, automotive design, cyber security and has a presence in India, Dubai and Spain.

Champion of Indian Sports
Being a sportsperson himself, Punit longs to see Indian representation at the Olympics and World Championships. PBG financially supports over 60 athletes including Valley athletes like Afreen Hayder (Taekwondo), Muhammad Saleem (Cycling), Umar Shah (Cricket) and Umeer Syed (Kho Kho).
PBG signed MoUs with the Maharashtra Hockey Association (₹50 Lakhs p.a. for 5 years) and Judo Federation (₹15 Lakhs p.a. for 5 years) to groom athletes for international representation.
